The European Commission has announced its intention to introduce the .eu domain early in 2001.

We are now accepting "pre-registration" orders for the new domain, on a first come - first served basis, subject to our .eu terms and conditions. We will charge 100€ (euro) (plus VAT) for each name reserved (plus local registry fees, which will be announced by the EU).
